This training is designed to enhance participants' understanding and application of moral reasoning, perspective taking, and the principles of social and personal responsibility in the context of real-world dilemmas. Through interactive workshops, case studies, and group discussions, participants will explore various scenarios that challenge their ethical frameworks and encourage critical thinking.

Civic competence in secondary school

This training program is designed for secondary school educators to cultivate and strengthen civic competence among students. The course focuses on practical strategies and educational methodologies to effectively integrate civic education into the curriculum. Through expert-led seminars, collaborative workshops, and interactive role-playing activities, educators will learn how to engage students in civic life, promoting responsible and active citizenship.

Geography

Geographers investigate the geographical dimensions of natural and artificial events on Earth, as well as their interactions with one another. By focusing on the spatial dimension, he develops methods for representing and studying the spatial aspects of occurrences. Its unique contribution to scientific advancement stems from its spatial perspective on Earth's phenomena, which draws on the discoveries of other sciences to produce a synthesis of new knowledge, interpretations, and assessments.

Sport - Physical Education

This course is designed to embrace the Olympic values of excellence, friendship, and respect through the power of sports, encouraging students to strive for excellence and to work together in a spirit of friendship and mutual respect. The course will also provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of effective teamwork.

Nature

Nature education program composed of experiental lesson plans for students to gain insights into the ecological community around them, allowing them to recognise the rich biodiversity and the intrinsic beauty of the natural environment, as well as to appreciate how the environmental sphere is inextricably linked to the economic and social spheres in the greater scheme of things.

Science

This course is a dynamic, hands-on science course designed for secondary education students. This program steps outside the conventional classroom to ignite curiosity and foster a deeper understanding of scientific principles through engaging, real-world applications.

The project

The aim of Learning by Doing project is to raise the importance of "Experiential Learning" in formal education as an innovative educational methodology, with usage of various games to apply the motivation of educators and learners in order to take more active part in the learning processes and, as a consequence, demonstrate the effectiveness of this method as part of school work.

The objectives are to

• Increase awareness of experiential learning as a non-formal educational practice • Test and implement experiential learning methods derived from non-formal education to formal school education • Improve students’ key competences with particular emphasis on critical thinking, learning to learn as well as civic competences, through their participation in experiential learning activities • Improve teachers’ skills and enhancing their practical experience through the usage of new pedagogy methods • Transfer knowledge among school teachers with formal educational background and educators specializing in non-formal education
